Carol Jiani quickly established herself as the Queen of Hi-Energy and Disco music scene in the 1980's. Famous for her Hi-Energy disco classic "Hit n Run Lover"  Carol found herself in great demand across the globe performing at all the "in"  places such as Studio 54.

So how did it all begin ?  Originally from Nigeria and born Uchenna Ikejiani Carol was asked to record in a studio for a friend resulting in a colaberation now know as "Montreal feat Uchenna Ikejiani", thus then leading into talks with her friends from university who put Carol in contact with the writer and producers of "Hit n Run Lover"  After just one hour in the studio Carol had recorded the vocals of this powerhouse classic and her career escalated.

Carol went on a world tour and due to her success was asked to record another dance classic "Get on up and do it again", however this was later released under the name of Suzy Q without even a mention of Carol Jiani - no doubt leaving our Diva fuming to say the least !!

However Carol experienced more success than Suzy and further hits continued on various disco labels , Mercy, Ask me and Touch N Go Lover to name a few.

Carol then moved to England in 1983 where she still lives a very happy and busy life today !!

She teamed up with Iain Levine in the late 1980's and recorded such hits as "Such a joy honey",  and "Turning my back and walking away"  before taking a break from the music scene and returning in 1995 with the single and album of the same tite "Superstar"!

A regional tour of the UK followed and to this date Carol is still busy recording having just released "Hit n Run Lover 2006"

Also now available,  FASCINATED  and also Carols own version of the Jocelyn Brown Classic " Somebody Elses Guy"  the latter being available on Dance Street Records !!!!! The latest single " I cant stop the music " was released in June 2007.

During Winter 2007 Carol will be working on a new album with Peter Wilson and Chris from T1 Productions, promising to be an album of pumping High Energy tunes watch this space for more details....
